First to the Future
We are one of the earliest VC to enter Greater China back in 1993. It was a big & bold move to venture into an unknown and untapped market where the term “venture capital” was yet to be officially coined. But we were driven by a bigger vision – to be the first movers to actively help pioneer the VC ecosystem in a region that will experience unprecedented growth.
Since we’ve backed companies like Creative Labs that first gave sound to computers; Commerce One – the world’s first e-commerce platform; Focus Media – first enablers of mass digital advertising in China, and many more.
Today, we continue to look beyond the horizon backing visionary founders ahead of the curve.
